Welcome Aboard English | Arabic | Chinese
If you are a dreamer and the sky is your limit,
why not make it a reality and learn how to fly. We are a new player
with many international qualified and experienced coaches and world
class facilities, thus making us comparable with the more
established flying academies.
However, we are in a better position to provide
aspiring dreamers, new flyers, aspiring pilots and career minded
individuals with state of the art training facilities with new glass
cockpit aircrafts and others light GA aircraft. We will probably be
one of the first flying academies in the region to offer training on
the new class of Very Light Jets (VLJ) with twin engined jet engine
aircraft in the offing.
The New Bintulu Airport, located in Bintulu
Sarawak, Malaysia (on the north shore of the island of Borneo ) is
where GGIFA is situated. We will be located opposite the New Bintulu
Airport Terminal which has more than 2.7 kilometers of runaway and
low commercial traffic. We are able to provide our students with
unrestricted airspace for practical flight training with more than
400 nautical miles of flying training area.
The modern and functional design of the academy
provides ample accommodation, well equipped modern classrooms, hangar
and newly acquired aircraft making the Gulf Golden International
Flying Academy (GGIFA) one of the best in the Asia Pacific Region.
From our temporary campus that can accommodate
more than 150 students, we have finally taken off with our first
batch comprising of 12 students. Our other intakes are expected to
begin their lessons within weeks from now.
The permanent campus site will be situated on a
45 acres site that will be able to accommodate more than 500-600
students with ample apartment like accommodation, modern hangars,
engineering and maintenance centre and classrooms with Computer Based
Training facilities.
Be as it may, GGIFA aims to fly higher and aims
to be the best flying academy in the region that will provide
aspiring students with a state of the art training environment,
plenty of airspace and a life-style seaside township with tropical
forests as a backdrop.
Dato' Morshidi Abdul Rahman President of GGIFA
